ASTM Standards for Inconel 825 Products:

1. Pipe Material (ASTM B423 / ASME SB423):

ASTM B423 / ASME SB423 specifies the requirements for seamless and welded nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloy (Inconel 825) pipes for general corrosion resistance and high-temperature applications.
ASME B36.19), and testing procedures for Inconel 825 pipes.

2. Plate and Sheet Material (ASTM B424 / ASME SB424):

ASTM B424 / ASME SB424 covers the specifications for nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloy (Inconel 825) plates, sheets, and strips.
This standard defines the chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, and tolerances for Inconel 825 plates and sheets used in various industrial applications.

3. Bar Material (ASTM B425 / ASME SB425):

ASTM B425 / ASME SB425 establishes the requirements for nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloy (Inconel 825) bars and wire.
It includes specifications for chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish of Inconel 825 bars and wire products.

4. Fitting Material (ASTM B366 / ASME SB366):

ASTM B366 / ASME SB366 provides the specifications for wrought nickel and nickel alloy fittings used in various corrosive environments, including those requiring resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids. This standard covers the dimensions, tolerances, materials, and testing requirements for Inconel 825 fittings such as elbows, tees, reducers, and caps. And production standards include ASME B16.9, B16.28, B16.49, MSS-SP43, MSS-SP75

5. Flange Material (ASTM B564 / ASME SB564):

ASTM B564 / ASME SB564 outlines the specifications for forged nickel alloy flanges, fittings, valves, and parts for corrosive and high-temperature service. Inconel 825 flanges manufactured according to this standard must meet requirements for chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, and testing procedures. Flange production standards include ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47 series A, ASME B16.47 series B, DIN2527ASME B16.11, MSS SP79, MSS SP83, MSS SP95, MSS SP97

Inconel 825 is a highly versatile nickel-based alloy known for its exceptional corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. The ASTM and ASME standards provide comprehensive specifications for manufacturing Inconel 825 products such as , ensuring quality, reliability, and compatibility in diverse industrial applications. Adhering to these standards guarantees the performance and integrity of Inconel 825 materials in challenging environments, making them indispensable in critical applications across various industries.
